Iran has a variety of foods from rices, stews, soups, bread, meat, etc. Some foods can be very complex, but all those spices and ingredients are put in the food are what make Persian food so exquisite. There is so much to discover and taste that it is very easy for anyone to come and in and enjoy at least one thing from the Persian menu.

#1. Darbar Persian Grill

Darbar Persian Grill is located on 2015 Avenue Rd, Toronto, ON. They have some special diets that include halal, vegetarian, and gluten free options. They are best rated for their delicious food and their amazing service and atmosphere. The hours are very long, which is great for those late nights out with friends.

They are known for their juicy and tender variety of kabobs like chicken and beef, and lamb chops. The portion sizes are big which is great for big families or a group of friends. They have delicious Ash reshteh (soup), Ghormeh sabzi (stew), and many other delicious delicacies. Also, Foodora does food deliver from here, in some areas.

#2 Darband Restaurant

Next, this restaurant is located on 879 York Mills Rd, Toronto, ON. It is a small restaurant, but has a big menu with different types of appetizers, salads, kebabs, traditional dishes, signature dishes, stews, platters, etc. They also serve halal meals. It is also opened 24hrs which is great for those late night cravings, or a night out with friends and you want to grab a delicious meal.

They are listed to be one of the best restaurant in the York Mills and Don Mills area. They are loved for their koobideh, chicken, soltani and chenjeh kebabs. The price is reasonable and worth it because of the quality of the food and the generous portion sizes of kebab and stew and with a lot of bread.

#3 Banu

The last restaurant I want to share with you is Banu it is located 777 Queen St W, Toronto, ON. It is more pricer, but the food and service is really worth the money. It is a small location but has a cute decorated interior, and has a nice atmosphere and kind servers, but you do have to book a reservations before you dine in. It is a nice environment and great food for anyone coming to try Persian food or anyone coming back to eat Persian food. They do serve vegetarian meals.

They also are a vodka bar, they serve beers, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, and alcoholic drinks. They also have events that happen when there is a festival or a special event in the Iranian culture, they also invite special guest to these events.

So, maybe next time you are in the GTA area and want a delicious and cultural meal, you should definitely come and try all the different Persian restaurants.
