On Saturday April 6, 2019, my family and I went out for lunch at Garlic Onion , which is a Chinese Restaurant in Richmond Hill. There were many different types of people who were seating it wasn’t just specifically Chinese people. The menu was specially just Chinese food, they had a variety of appetizers, soups, seafood, vegetables, different meats like chicken, beef, and pork, and different rices and noodles, and drinks. The food tasted and looked genuine to Chinese food, it didn’t look cheap or fast food, it was very delicious.

When you first walk in someone at the front walks you to a table and hands you a menu, they give you a pretty decent time to pick and choose what you want to eat, once you are ready they come over and they write down your order, while you are waiting for your meal to come they give each person two spring rolls with some plum sauce, and once the meal is ready it is served at the table. They also do delivery.

The food was presented very nicely, it was still very hot and fresh it came with a neat serving of rice, with a decent amount of honey chicken that was sweet and tender, and some broccoli.

This food is usually served in a plate or in a Chinese take out box, so it can be eaten while sitting or while walking around, and it depends on the restaurant how you would eat this at Garlic Onion everyone has their own individual plate, but at different restaurants they give a bigger portion on one plate to be shared with others. The smell of the food was AMAZING there was so much seasoning and spices on the chicken that it went so well with the plain rice.

The restaurant was not very loud, and since it is located in a nice quiet plaza there was no loud noises coming from outside. When I went there was maybe only 4 or 5 tables filled, there was many conversations going on about jobs, family, how the food tasted. The restaurant was very nice and modern.

If you eat here you will have the best Chinese restaurant experience!
